Industry-first 500mm telephoto lens! Honor G500 telephoto intensifier unveiled.

The Honor Magic9 series was officially unveiled this afternoon, with the Honor Magic9 Pro Max being the top-of-the-line model in the series, touted as a handheld movie camera.

Honor also launched the industry’s first 500mm telephoto lens, the Honor G500 telephoto extender, for the Magic9 Pro Max.

The Magic9 Pro Max’s native 85mm telephoto lens is extended by approximately 5.88 times through optical means, achieving an equivalent focal length of 500mm, supporting shooting at focal lengths from 500 to 14000mm.

In comparison, the strongest teleconverters from competitors were previously within 400mm. The Honor G500 has clearly taken a step further in telephoto capabilities, and will achieve stronger image quality in long-distance shooting scenarios such as concerts, sports events, and wildlife.

The Magic9 Pro Max features the industry’s only ARRI dual 200MP imaging system, an industry-leading 200MP ARRI gimbal-level main camera with CIPA 8.0 level image stabilization, and a 200MP ARRI Ultra Night Telephoto lens, equipped with the self-developed Honor H1 image chip.

By introducing ARRI LogC3, ARRI AWG3, the full ARRI Look suite, cinematic-grade gun microphones, and theater-grade audio, a full-chain cinematic-level image performance has been achieved.

In terms of specific hardware, the Magic9 Pro Max features a 200MP ARRI gimbal-level main camera with a 1/1.28-inch ultra-large sensor, f/1.57 aperture, 24mm equivalent focal length, 3° gimbal-level image stabilization, and has obtained the industry’s most stable CIPA 8.0 level image stabilization certification.

The telephoto lens is a 200MP ARRI Ultra Vision Telephoto lens with a 1/1.4-inch large sensor, f/2.6 aperture, 85mm equivalent focal length, and CIPA 7.5-stop image stabilization. The ultra-wide-angle lens is 50MP with an f/2.0 aperture and 12mm equivalent focal length.

The industry’s first cinematic-grade “powerful microphone” features the industry’s only dual-channel directional microphone, consisting of a hybrid array of one side-pickup microphone and three omnidirectional microphones, with a maximum pickup distance of 20 meters, enabling a pinpoint sound pickup experience.
