Blogger Digital Chat Station stated that Huawei’s laboratory is testing a dual 200-megapixel solution, including a 200-megapixel main camera + a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Both sensors are ultra-large bottom solutions.

This is the first time Huawei has tested dual 200 million pixels. Netizens speculate that this solution may be applied to the Pura 90 series in the first half of next year.

Previously, on the Pura 80 series, Huawei pioneered an ultra-large-bottom single-lens binocular telephoto lens, combining the optical focal lengths of a 3.7x medium-telephoto lens and a 9.4x super-telephoto lens, allowing the two lenses to share the same 1/1.28-inch main camera-level ultra-large-bottom sensor, achieving a perfect combination of ultra-large bottom and dual telephoto, helping to achieve a comprehensive leap in telephoto image quality.

In concert scenes, traditional telephoto lenses usually result in blurred image quality and color distortion when zoomed in. The Huawei Pura 80 Ultra’s extra-large bottom, single-lens, binocular telephoto lens can clearly capture stage details even in complex lighting conditions.

Next year’s Pura 90 Ultra is expected to be equipped with a new dual 200-megapixel solution, and its image quality and zoom performance will be greatly upgraded, which is worth looking forward to.
