Huawei’s flagship smartphone Mate 80 RS features all-glass construction, with no ceramic options.

Blogger Dingjiao Digital revealed that the Huawei Mate 80 RS Master Series will have glass on both sides, without ceramic . The front will be made of third-generation basalt glass, and the back will be made of second-generation basalt glass.

The Mate 80 RS Master is now available for pre-order, offering three color options: Black, Purple, and White, and two choices: 20GB+512GB and 20GB+1TB.

As shown in the picture, the Mate 80 RS Master continues the octagonal lens design of its predecessor. The back not only features the Huawei logo but also the ULTIMATE DESIGN logo, giving the overall design a sense of sophistication and quality.

In addition, the Huawei Mate 80 series will be the first to use the Kirin 9030 series chip and will come pre-installed with the HarmonyOS 6 operating system. Previously, Huawei launched the Kirin 9020 chip at the launch event for its new tri-fold screen product. This move shows that Huawei has achieved self-sufficiency and control over its chip supply chain.

Overall, the Mate 80 series will bring users a brand-new experience in terms of both hardware configuration and software experience. As for the price, the previous flagship Mate 70 RS Master was initially priced at 11,999 yuan. It is expected that the Mate 80 RS Master will also be priced at over 10,000 yuan.
