The back design of the iPhone has hardly changed since the 11th generation. The Pro version has continued to use the three-camera matrix, but the size is becoming more and more exaggerated.

Such a monotonous appearance has caused aesthetic fatigue among users, and the appearance cannot arouse the desire to buy at all.

Amid dismal sales of the entire iPhone 16 series, Apple finally woke up and will bring major changes to the appearance of the iPhone 17 series.

Among them, the biggest change is the new iPhone 17 Air, which has a body thickness of only 5.5mm, 30% thinner than the iPhone 16 and 33% thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro. It is the thinnest mobile phone in Apple’s history.

This phone will replace the Plus model, which currently has poor sales performance. The iPhone 17 Air will replace the Plus and form a new product matrix with the standard version, Pro version and Pro Max version.

According to the latest news from blogger “Digital Chat Station”, the rear camera of the iPhone 17 Air will adopt a horizontal bar design, shaped like a runway, similar to the Google Pixel 9 series.

There is also a major upgrade on the front. The screen will be upgraded to a high-refresh screen. This is the first time in Apple’s history that high refresh has been introduced for mobile phones other than the Pro version, greatly improving the daily experience.

It should be noted that due to the thin and light body design,
its battery capacity is only more than 3000 mAh. With the blessing of large screen + high refresh rate, this may make battery life a huge pain point.
