the iPhone 17 Pro Max will be the first Apple phone equipped with three 48-megapixel cameras, officially bidding farewell to the 12-megapixel era.

According to leaks, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, which will be launched in the second half of this year, will be equipped with a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, support 5x optical zoom, and have the same specifications as the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max, which will be unveiled next year, will be upgraded to a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and the sensor size will be upgraded from 1/3.1 inches to 1/2.6 inches. The photosensitivity and zoom performance will be further improved.

By then, the main camera, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses of the iPhone 17 Pro Max will bid farewell to the 12-megapixel era, and Apple will deeply optimize the imaging of this flagship to make it more convenient for cross-screen collaboration with the Vision Pro headset.

It is also worth noting that TSMC, the main manufacturer of Apple chips, plans to start testing and producing 2nm chips next week, and plans to apply this advanced technology to Apple’s new chips next year.

This means that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will be the industry’s first flagship model equipped with a 2nm chip.
