According to the renderings, Apple’s foldable phone will be equipped with an inner and outer dual screen. The inner screen will be about 7.8 inches when unfolded, close to the size of an iPad mini; the outer screen will be about 5.5 inches .
Apple is working on solving the crease problem and may use self-healing coatings and liquid metal hinges.
The foldable iPhone adopts a book-like folding design, with a thickness of about 9.5mm when folded and only 4.8mm when unfolded.
In terms of the imaging system, the foldable iPhone will be equipped with dual rear cameras, the main camera may be 48 million pixels, the inner screen will use an under-screen camera, and the outer screen will retain the punch-hole design.
It is worth noting that Face ID may be cancelled and replaced by under-screen Touch ID.
Analysts predict that the iPhone Fold will cost between $2,000 and $2,500, far exceeding the Pro series.
