iQOO 15 Ultra Spotted in Hands-On Video Ahead of Official Launch

The iQOO 15 Ultra, marking iQOO’s first entry into the Ultra smartphone category, is scheduled for release on February 4. Although the company has already shared official renders that provide an idea of the device’s design, a new video posted by tipster Ice Universe offers a closer look at how the smartphone appears in real life.

The back panel of the iQOO 15 Ultra features a unique hexagonal pattern that reflects light in a colorful way when viewed from different angles. The smartphone is built with a metal frame that has a smooth matte finish giving it a premium look and feel.

On the right side of the iQOO 15 Ultra you will find the power button and the volume rocker, which are accompanied by shoulder triggers for gaming and other functions. The left frame features an air vent, which supports the device’s active cooling system that uses a fan to manage heat. At the bottom edge, there is a USB-C charging port, a SIM card slot, a primary microphone, and a speaker grille while the top edge includes a second microphone, an additional speaker grille, and an IR blaster for remote control capabilities.

The camera module on the iQOO 15 Ultra has a different design compared to the iQOO 15, featuring a more distinct layout. The camera island also incorporates air vents at the bottom, which are part of the phone’s active cooling system.

iQOO has not yet revealed the full specifications of the iQOO 15 Ultra, but the company has confirmed several key features. The device comes with a 2K resolution display that can achieve up to 8,000 nits of peak brightness, offers Dolby Vision support, enables gaming at 144 FPS, is powered by a Q3 chip optimized for gaming, and includes speakers with Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio experience.

According to Geekbench listings, the iQOO 15 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and can be equipped with up to 16GB of RAM. Complete specifications and additional details about the device will be shared next Wednesday.

The vivo iQOO 15 5G will reportedly be available in two memory and storage options: 12GB RAM paired with 256GB of internal storage for ₹72,998, and 16GB RAM paired with 512GB of storage for ₹79,998.
