Samsung is set to enhance its flagship devices from last year with the eagerly awaited One UI 6.1 update, enriched with AI capabilities. This significant update, initially introduced with the Galaxy S24 series in January, will now extend to the Galaxy S23 family, including the S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, as well as the Z Flip5 and Z Fold5.
Scheduled for release on March 28, the update’s rollout may vary by region but is confirmed to begin in several territories. This development follows confirmations from Samsung Korea and Samsung China, with both subsidiaries marking March 28 as the commencement date. Notably, the Galaxy S23 FE is included in the initial rollout phase, a departure from the usual practice where FE models receive updates later.
While the global rollout of One UI 6.1 may extend into April to reach all eligible devices, the process is set to start this week, marking a significant update phase for Samsung’s premium devices.
