OnePlus 15 and Ace 6 Launch with Massive Batteries and 165Hz Ultra-Fast Screens

OnePlus has officially launched its latest flagship smartphones, the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6, marking an exciting step forward for the brand.

Both phones come with Snapdragon chips, 165Hz displays, and huge batteries. Let’s break it down.

OnePlus 15

The flagship OnePlus 15 introduces a refreshed design, moving away from the quad-curved display in favor of an all-flat screen. The new display measures 6.78 inches with FHD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, replacing the previous 6.82-inch QHD 120Hz panel. It features the latest BOE X3 technology and uniform 1.15mm bezels on all sides, resulting in a slightly more compact overall footprint than its predecessor.

OnePlus 15 introduces a new camera setup, moving away from Hasselblad and adopting Oppo’s Lumo Imaging System. The main camera remains 50MP, though the sensor is slightly smaller at 1/1.56″. The 50MP telephoto lens offers 3.5x optical zoom at 85mm, replacing the previous 3x 73mm unit. The third camera is a 50MP 16mm f/2.0 ultrawide, while a 32MP sensor handles selfies up front.

With the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a 7,300 mAh battery, the latest flagship raises the bar for power and endurance. Charging performance has also been upgraded with support for 120 W wired and 50 W wireless speeds.

The OnePlus 15 runs ColorOS 16 on Android 16, offering a smooth and modern experience.

OnePlus Ace 6

The OnePlus Ace 6 succeeds the Ace 5 in China and is expected to launch globally as the OnePlus 15R. The OnePlus Ace 6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition and features a 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate. Rear photography on the Ace 6 is handled by a 50 MP wide-angle and an 8 MP ultrawide camera, with a 16 MP selfie camera up front.

Boasting a huge 7,800 mAh battery, the Ace 6 supports 120 W wired charging but lacks wireless charging.

Availability

The OnePlus 15 will be available starting tomorrow, October 28, via the official OnePlus website. It comes in Absolute Black, Misty Purple, and Sand Dune. Details on the OnePlus Ace 6 are still awaited.
