OnePlus 15 Launch! A Look at the Third-Generation Dongfang Screen

Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, announced the release of the third-generation Oriental Screen. The screen was jointly developed by OnePlus, OPPO and BOE, breaking 9 major screen records.

OnePlus 15 will be the first to be equipped with the third-generation Oriental screen, and OnePlus will be the first to enter the “165 ultra-high refresh rate” era.

According to Li Jie, this is the best screen on a mobile phone so far, with an ultra-high refresh rate of 165Hz, display effects beyond A++, true hardware 1nit dark night display, new bright eye protection, etc. It leads the industry in four major aspects: smoothness, display, dark display, and eye protection.

Li Jie said that this screen is of great significance to OnePlus and the Chinese screen industry. It represents that “Chinese screens” have begun to lead and define new industry standards.

It is understood that the screen has been reconstructed through four major technologies, achieving 165Hz ultra-high refresh and PC-level top display for the first time. It uses exclusive self-developed enhanced driving technology, and the charging time of a single row of pixels reaches 1.3 microseconds, which is twice the industry average, and the screen achieves stable high refresh.

In addition, nine self-developed display algorithms significantly improve brightness and color uniformity.

In terms of eye protection, the third-generation Oriental screen has three hardware-level eye protection features: hardware-level low brightness, hardware-level low flicker, and hardware-level low blue light.

There are also seven AI active eye protections, namely AI blink reminder, AI distance reminder, motion sickness relief, rhythmic sleep, comfortable color temperature, the first AI color temperature enhancement, and low-light game eye protection.

The screen uses a new generation of bright eye protection and has obtained the industry’s first Rhine TÜV Intelligent Eye Protection 5.0 small gold label certification.
