OnePlus Ace 5 series will launch a new model next month: the world’s first Dimensity 9400e

Li Jie revealed in a media interview at the OnePlus 13T launch conference that OnePlus will bring two large-screen gaming phones in May.

According to the information revealed by the blogger Digital Chat Station, these two large-screen gaming ceilings are both OnePlus Ace 5 series products, named OnePlus Ace 5 Extreme Edition and OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition respectively.

Among them, the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition is the world’s first to launch the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e. This chip is an upgraded version of the Dimensity 9300+ and is built based on TSMC’s 4nm process.

It is reported that the Dimensity 9400e consists of 4 super cores and 4 large cores, among which the super core is Cortex-X4 and the large core is Cortex-A720. After testing, the Dimensity 9400e runs Aztec 1440p with a score of about 95fps, and its overall strength will exceed that of Snapdragon 8s Gen4.

The OnePlus Ace 5 Extreme Edition is the first to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ platform. This chip is built based on TSMC’s 3nm process and is MediaTek’s most powerful mobile phone chip.

In terms of core specifications, the Dimensity 9400+ adopts the second-generation all-large core architecture, which increases the main frequency of the Cortex-X925 super core to 3.73GHz, and provides 3 3.3GHz Cortex-X4 large cores and 4 2.4GHz Cortex-A720 energy-efficient cores. The performance is improved by 28.5% compared to the previous generation, and the energy efficiency is improved by 31%.

In terms of GPU, the Dimensity 9400+ uses the new generation 12-core Immortalis-G925, which has an 8% performance improvement and a 10% energy efficiency improvement compared to the previous generation. The AnTuTu score exceeds 3 million points.
