OnePlus Nord 6: Powering Performance with Its Chipset

The upcoming OnePlus Nord 6 is reportedly set to make its debut in the near future. Based on multiple recent leaks and rumors circulating online, it appear that this new model could essentially be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Turbo 6 which was officially launched in China just earlier this month potentially featuring only minor tweaks or adjustments compared to the original.

It seems that the Nord 6 has recently undergone testing on Geekbench and as usually the case with such benchmark tests this has led to a new entry being added to Geekbench’s online database. This particular listing provides some important details about the device including its model number which is identified as CPH2795 and confirms that the smartphone is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 system on chip, the very same processor that powers the recently released OnePlus Turbo 6.

During Geekbench testing, the Nord 6 prototype was revealed to feature 12GB of RAM though OnePlus is likely to offer additional memory options when the device officially launches. As anticipated, the smartphone will come with Android 16 preinstalled giving users immediate access to the latest features and improvements from the moment they turn it on.

In the event that the Nord 6 is essentially the same as the Turbo 6 under a different name, we can expect it to carry over all of the key specifications of its predecessor. This would likely include a large 6.78 inch AMOLED display with a sharp 1272×2772 resolution and an impressive 165Hz refresh rate, storage options of up to 512GB, a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 16MP front facing selfie camera and a 9,000 mAh battery supporting both 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging for powering other devices.
