OPPO Find X9 Ultra receives UFCS 1.2 certification!

Fast Technology reported that the FCA (Fast Charging Association) announced that the OPPO Find X9 Ultra has obtained the industry’s first UFCS 1.2 mobile phone certification, having passed the certification for integrated fast charging functionality.

According to reports, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra has passed conformity certification and compatibility testing, and has obtained UFCS trademark authorization.

Previously, the OPPO Pad 5 Pro had already obtained the industry’s first UFCS 1.2 tablet certification.

With the OPPO Find X9 Ultra achieving another milestone, OPPO has taken the lead in completing the UFCS 1.2 upgrade and ecosystem layout for both smartphones and tablets.

Compared to the previous generation standard, UFCS 1.2 further optimizes the power negotiation logic, expands the compatibility range of high-power devices, and strengthens the end-to-end charging safety protection.

Meanwhile, the new standard retains a dual-compatible architecture of proprietary fast charging and public converged fast charging, which can fully unleash the performance of manufacturers’ self-developed 100W fast charging and is also compatible with third-party UFCS charging devices from different brands.

In terms of charging, the device supports 100W wired SuperVOOC Flash Charge and 50W wireless Flash Charge, which can quickly replenish the battery and alleviate users’ battery anxiety.

In terms of compatibility, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra supports 100W proprietary UFCS fast charging and is also compatible with 44W public UFCS fast charging, making it compatible with a large number of third-party UFCS chargers.

Whether at home, in the office, or on the go, users can quickly recharge using compatible charging devices, further enhancing the convenience of daily charging.

It is understood that UFCS is a new generation of converged fast charging protocol jointly developed by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), Huawei, OPPO, vivo, Honor and other companies, together with many terminal manufacturers, chip companies and industry chain partners.

The agreement aims to address issues such as inconsistent fast charging standards among different brands and insufficient compatibility of charging devices, thereby ensuring charging safety while further improving charging efficiency and device versatility.

UFCS is not only applicable to terminal products such as mobile phones, tablets, speakers, and VR devices, but can also be applied to high-power devices such as electric vehicles and small home appliances, bringing users a more unified and convenient charging experience.
