Poco F8 Ultra Appears on Geekbench Before Launch
The Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro could arrive much earlier than expected. Last year, the previous models were released in March but these new devices could arrive well before that. While the company hasn’t officially announced anything but there are clues that tell us the launch is near. Both the F8 Ultra and F8 Pro have been spotted in certification lists in different countries. Interestingly, the F8 Pro box shows “Sound by Bose” suggesting the device will have high quality speakers or audio features.
On the other hand, the F8 Ultra has just run Geekbench and as usually this means we get to know what chipset is powering it. You’ll be happy to find out it’s the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. While the software on board was Android 16, it was paired with 16GB of RAM in the unit which ran the benchmark. Without any doubt, when the device launch this will come with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 on top.

In terms of its chipset and memory size, the Poco F8 Ultra will rank among the best. We don’t know all the other specifications yet because they haven’t been leaked, but many believe that the Poco F8 Ultra is basically the same as the Redmi K90 Pro Max, just under a different name the two devices could be nearly identical inside.
If true, the device should come up with a 6.9 inch AMOLED display with 1200×2608 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3,500 nit peak brightness and 2,560Hz PWM. Storage might go up to 1TB, featuring a triple rear camera setup (50MP main with OIS, 50MP periscope telephoto 5x zoom, 50MP ultrawide), a 32MP selfie camera, a Bose audio system with dual stereo speakers and a rear woofer, and a 7,560 mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
