Recently, a Realme smartphone with the model number RMX3840 was spotted on the Geekbench database, speculated to be part of the Realme 12 Pro series. The device’s CPU is composed of four cores clocked at 1.96GHz and four cores at 2.40GHz, which is expected to be the Snapdragon 7s Gen2 processor.
According to leaks, the Realme phone boasts DSLR-level camera capabilities, featuring an 80mm focal length for impressive portrait effects, 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and a 120x super zoom as teased in the promotional materials.
In terms of specific configurations, the Realme 12 Pro series is expected to be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera, a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
The front side may include a 32-megapixel selfie camera for self-portraits and video chats. The device is also anticipated to feature cinematic portrait mode, HDR, and night mode.
Additionally, the new model is expected to house a 5000mAh battery (rated at 4880mAh) and support 67W fast charging, with the Pro+ model possibly offering even faster charging speeds.
The Realme 12 Pro series is set to launch internationally on January 29, with the domestic release date in China yet to be announced.
