Realme 13 Pro series officially announced: the world’s first Sony periscope telephoto sensor
Realme announced on the social platform that the Realme 13 Pro series will soon be launched in India, and this new product will also meet consumers in China.
According to the official poster, the realme 13 Pro series uses a ring-shaped camera island. The industrial design is basically the same as the previous generation, and there is a new logo “HYPERIMAGE+” on the camera island.
Realme officially stated that the realme 13 Pro series will redefine photography.
It is reported that the realme 13 Pro series will be the first to adopt Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera, with 50 million pixels, support 3x optical zoom, and support OIS optical image stabilization.
Compared with the OV64B sensor (64 million pixels) used in the previous generation, the customized Sony IMX882 has a larger base, the sensor size is 1/1.95 inches (the OV64B sensor size is 1/2 inch), and the unit pixel area is 0.8μm (OV64B is 0.7μm).
In addition, the realme 13 Pro series will also be equipped with a Sony IMX890 main camera with 50 million pixels, and is expected to also support OIS optical image stabilization.
