Realme Neo Set To Launch Early Next Year With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

According to a post by the blogger @Digital Chat Station, Realme is expected to focus on the series (presumably the Realme 12 series) before the end of the year, featuring an IMX709 2X upright telephoto and OV64B 3X periscope telephoto for imaging.

The new Realme Neo series phone, set to launch early next year, is rumored to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and may return to its roots in terms of aggressive pricing.

The last major release in the Realme Neo series was the Realme GT Neo 5 in February of the current year. There was speculation that a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone, initially thought to be the Realme GT Neo6, would be released mid-year, but it was eventually launched as the Realme GT5.

It featured the industry’s first 144Hz 1.5K flagship straight screen (co-developed with Tianma), with a local peak brightness of 1400nits and support for a 144Hz high refresh rate and 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming.

It also featured an 8MP (Sony IMX355) ultra-wide-angle and a 2MP (Gekewei GC02M1) microscope camera.

Notably, the Realme GT Neo 5 offered two endurance versions: a 240W fast charge with a 4600mAh battery and a 150W fast charge with a 5000mAh battery.
