blogger Digital Chat Station revealed that Redmi K80 Pro will start preheating next week.

According to official information, this time Redmi will launch two models, the K80 standard version and the K80 Pro, but there will be no K80E.

Among them, the K80 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition processor, which has been used in the Xiaomi 15 series. It uses TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process and Qualcomm’s self-developed Oryon CPU, with outstanding performance and power consumption.

In terms of CPU architecture, the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition is equipped with two 4.32GHz super cores and six 3.53GHz performance cores, each with 12MB of L2 cache.

According to Qualcomm’s official data, the single-core and multi-core performance of the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition has improved by 45% compared to the third-generation products, and the upgraded NPU has increased its inference speed by 45% and its performance per watt by 45% compared to the previous generation.

In addition, the Redmi K80 series will continue to use a 2K resolution screen with a central hole, equipped with a metal middle frame, a circular rear lens area, and a camera position similar to the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro.

Finally, everyone is concerned about the price. Wang Teng revealed in the live broadcast that the Redmi K80 series will increase in price, leaving no regrets at the 4,000 yuan price point.

Wang Teng once explained the reasons for the price increase of flagship mobile phones this year. First, the flagship processor has been upgraded to the latest 3nm process, and the process cost has increased significantly. Second, the memory price has reached a high point after a year of continuous price increases, so the version with large memory has increased even more.

Wang Teng said: It is quite difficult to set the pricing for this wave of flagships at the end of the year, and every good product deserves encouragement.
