Samsung has rolled out a new software update for the Galaxy A34, bringing the February 2025 security patch to users in Asia. While this isn’t the One UI 7.0 update you might be waiting for, it’s an important release that enhances the phone’s security by addressing multiple privacy and security vulnerabilities.
The update, identified by firmware version A346EXXS9CYA2, is now live in the Philippines. It was initially released in Europe a few days ago and is making its way to other regions.
If you own a Galaxy A34 and are in the Philippines, you can check for the update by navigating to your phone’s Settings > Software update > Download and install. Alternatively, you can manually download the latest firmware file from the firmware database and flash it using a Windows PC with the Odin tool.
The Galaxy A34, which launched in 2023 with Android 13, has already received the Android 14 update. The Android 15 update is expected to arrive in the coming months, followed by two additional Android OS updates in the future. One UI 7.0 could be the next major software upgrade for this device.
