Samsung Galaxy A57 to Be Equipped With a Flexible OLED Panel
Samsung is reportedly working on its next premium smartphone under the Galaxy A-series, known as the Galaxy A57 which is expected to be positioned as a premium offering within the company’s A-series lineup and will reportedly come with a flexible OLED display. This new addition would represent a notable upgrade for the device as it has not used this type of panel before. The report also mentions that the OLED display panel will be provided by CSOT a Chinese company that specializes in display technology.
Although CSOT will not be the sole supplier of flexible OLED panels for the Galaxy A57, this development remains significant. The move is notable as it would mark the first time Samsung is expected to rely on a display manufacturer other than its inhouse Samsung Display which typically provides panels for its smartphones. This shift represents a major change for Samsung as the company has traditionally depended on Samsung Display and is now reportedly turning to an external supplier for this device.

While CSOT will contribute to the supply Samsung Display is expected to deliver the majority of flexible OLED panels for the Galaxy A57. The use of a flexible OLED panel could allow the smartphone to feature slimmer and more evenly sized bezels along the sides of the screen. In comparison, previous models in the Galaxy A series have relied on rigid OLED panels.
According to the report, CSOT will not only provide panels for the Galaxy A57 but is also expected to supply flexible OLED screens for the Galaxy S26 FE. Meanwhile the Samsung Galaxy A56 is available in two different configurations the 128GB storage model with 8GB RAM is priced at $499.99 (or €279.99) and the 256GB storage model with 8GB RAM costs $399.99 (or €286.42) offering consumers multiple storage and memory options.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A57 is said to launch in February 2026 featuring the Exynos 1680 chipset for its performance needs and supporting fast charging at up to 45W. For photography the device is expected to include a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor, 13MP ultrawide lens and 5MP macro camera allowing users to take high quality wide angle and close-up photos.
