Samsung Galaxy S26/S26+ Features and Design Revealed: World’s First to Feature a 2nm Chip

According to Fast Technology on January 31, Samsung’s new flagship Galaxy S26 series will be released on February 25, with the Chinese version expected to debut in March.

AndroidHeadline recently published an article revealing the core specifications and appearance renderings of the Galaxy S26/S26+.

In terms of appearance, the Galaxy S26/S26+ is not much different from its predecessor, still featuring the family’s simple design, a flat screen with straight edges, and a centered punch-hole on the front screen.

The Galaxy S26 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen, measures 149.6×71.7×7.2 mm, weighs 137 grams, and has a built-in 4300mAh battery.

The Galaxy S26+ features a 6.7-inch QHD+ screen, measures 158.4×75.8×7.3 mm, weighs 190 grams, and has a built-in 4900mAh battery.

All models are equipped with Dynamic AMOLED 3X panels, supporting 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate + 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, with a peak brightness of 3000 nits.

Most notably, the core configuration is expected to be Samsung’s self-developed Exynos 2600, the world’s first 2nm chip, in both the South Korean and European markets.

The Exynos 2600 features a 10-core design, with the CPU consisting of one 3.80GHz super core, three 3.26GHz large cores, and six 2.76GHz small cores. Its single-core score exceeds 3400 points, and its multi-core score exceeds 11,000 points.

Other regions will come standard with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, including the Chinese version.

The imaging system is synchronized across two cameras, featuring a rear triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP OIS main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 10MP 3x telephoto camera, supporting 8K/60fps video recording; and a 12MP front-facing camera.
