Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will use the same main camera as S25 Ultra

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 foldable screen mobile phone will usher in a major upgrade of the imaging system.

It is said that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be equipped with the same 200-megapixel main camera sensor as the S25 Ultra, that is, the Samsung S5KHP2 CMOS, with a 1/1.3-inch photosensitive unit . This indicates that the imaging capabilities of the foldable screen mobile phone will be further aligned with the high-end Ultra series.

This upgrade is not only reflected in the high pixels of the main camera, but will also bring better low-light shooting performance and clearer imaging effects.

In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s under-screen front camera will also be improved. Although its specific resolution is not yet clear, Samsung is expected to use a higher-resolution sensor to solve the low-resolution problem of the under-screen camera of its predecessor.

Not all cameras have been upgraded, though.

The ultra-wide-angle lens is still 12MP, the telephoto lens continues to use a 10-megapixel sensor, and the external screen front camera also remains unchanged at 10 million pixels.

Nevertheless, thanks to improved image processing technology, the overall shooting effect of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is still expected to be greatly improved.

It is reported that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be released together with Galaxy Z Flip 7 in July this year.
