Samsung Galaxy Z Wide Fold Leaked! 4:3 Landscape with Zero Black Bezels

According to foreign media reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Wide Fold has undergone a major upgrade in its internal screen design, with the new phone’s internal screen ratio adjusted to 4:3 and the horizontal display area significantly widened.

Compared to the near-square 1.11:1 aspect ratio of its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, this new design makes the screen shape closer to that of a traditional tablet, directly optimizing landscape usage scenarios. When viewing photos and videos, the top and bottom black bars are significantly reduced, bringing a more immersive visual experience.

Daily multitasking will also be more efficient. With the new aspect ratio, there is more space for split-screen operation, document editing, and application switching. Users can get a comfortable field of view without frequently rotating the phone, and the practicality is significantly improved.

The new device also features a brand-new flexible display panel that is virtually crease-free, further improving the tactile and visual smoothness of the folded area. It is less likely to show obvious marks during long-term use, taking the overall quality to a new level.

In terms of operating system, the Galaxy Z Wide Fold will be the first to feature One UI 9.0 based on Android 17. This interface will be better adapted to the new inner screen and provide customized landscape interaction logic.

According to reports, the model number of this device is SM-F971B, tentatively named Galaxy Z Wide Fold, and it is expected to be officially launched in July this year along with the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Z Fold 8.
