Samsung Unveils Portable SSD T7 Resurrected with Storage Up to 4TB

The SSD T7 Resurrected is Samsung’s latest step toward eco-friendly technology. It come in fully recyclable packaging and features a case made entirely from recycled aluminum. Interestingly, the aluminum used in this SSD comes from materials that were discarded during the manufacturing of Samsung’s Galaxy phones and tablets. By using these leftover materials, Samsung promotes cross division recycling helping the company to make better use of resources while minimizing its environmental footprint.

The South Korean company has also removed the coloring process for the SSD T7 Resurrected allowing the natural silver luster of aluminum to show through. Furthermore, the packaging reflects Samsung’s eco-friendly approach using ASA certified soy ink for all printed materials which is more sustainable and less harmful to the environment.

The environmental responsible design choices made for the SSD T7 Resurrected have earned Samsung the renowned 2026 CES Innovation Award in the Sustainability and Energy category.
