Samsung previews Galaxy Fold 7: Ultra-level experience!

Samsung released a preview today, revealing that the next-generation folding screen Galaxy Fold 7 will be launched in the summer, which will achieve an Ultra-level experience and provide larger cameras and artificial intelligence tools.

Samsung, once a leader in foldable screens, has been left far behind by domestic manufacturers in recent years, especially in terms of body control and battery.

This time, Samsung made drastic product innovations, began to optimize towards lighter and thinner directions, and continued to make the body thinner.

According to blogger “i冰宇宙”, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is 3.9mm thick when unfolded and 8.9mm thick when folded, which will break the record for the world’s thinnest folding screen.

It is reported that the world’s thinnest folding screen (inward folding) is OPPO Find N5, which is 8.93mm when folded and 4.21mm when unfolded.

The thinnest model when unfolded is the Huawei Mate XT tri-fold, which is 3.6mm at its thinnest point when unfolded.

According to current data, the thickness of the Galaxy Z Fold7 when unfolded is close to three times the thickness of the folded version, which is far greater than that of ordinary inward-folding phones.

Thanks to the application of new battery technology, the Galaxy Z Fold7 still maintains the same 4400mAh battery as the previous generation after being significantly thinned , without bringing any additional battery life burden.

Of course, there is still some gap compared to the current domestic folding screens that generally start at 5000mAh, but it is very rare for Samsung today to be able to maintain the battery unchanged while significantly thinning it.

In other aspects, the phone uses an 8.2-inch inner screen and a 6.5-inch outer screen. The inner screen uses under-screen camera technology, presenting a hole-free effect.

Equipped with the same 200-megapixel main camera sensor as the S25 Ultra, that is, the Samsung S5KHP2 CMOS, which has a 1/1.3-inch photosensitive unit, its imaging capabilities will be further aligned with the high-end Ultra series.

The core is equipped with a 4.47GHz high-frequency version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chip, supplemented by 12GB of memory and Adreno 830 GPU.
