This digitizer, made from a large flexible printed circuit board (FPCB), is significantly more expensive than other smartphone components like the application processor (AP) and the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panel. By removing S Pen support, Samsung aims to reduce the overall cost of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, making it more accessible to a wider audience.
