TECNO officially releases the world’s thinnest curved screen phone at 5.93mm!

Transsion officially launched the ultra-thin smartphone – TECNO Slim series at the International Consumer Electronics Show (IFA 2025) in Berlin, Germany.

It includes two mobile phones, namely TECNO Spark Slim and TECNO Pova Slim 5G, with body thicknesses of 5.93mm and 5.95mm respectively.

Both phones use 3D curved AMOLED displays, making them the world’s thinnest curved screen phones. They also support 1.5K high resolution, 144Hz high refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 4500 nits.

Transsion introduced that the phone uses self-developed honeycomb stacking technology (borrowing from the honeycomb bionic principle), and redesigned eight core components such as the battery, speaker, and SIM card slot, increasing the internal space utilization by 12%.

Equipped with a customized 0.45mm single-tongue Type-C interface, inspired by folding screen devices, it further compresses the thickness of components and breaks the thickness limit of traditional straight-screen curved screen phones.

The back uses a 0.36mm thick aviation-grade glass fiber back panel, which is 0.19mm thinner than ordinary composite materials, with a 300% increase in strength and a 200% increase in toughness.

The imaging module supports the unique Mood Light design and has dual circular light rings that can simulate dynamic expressions such as “happy”, “unhappy”, and “winking”, and respond to notifications, incoming calls, charging, and other status.

The front is covered with Corning’s seventh-generation Gorilla Glass. The entire device supports IP64 dust and water resistance and has passed military-grade impact resistance certification, and can cope with daily drops, dust, splashes and other scenarios.

At the same time, at this thickness, it is also equipped with a 0.3mm ultra-thin heat spreader and a high thermal conductivity graphite material of 1800W/m・K. The total heat dissipation area reaches 24,532mm², ensuring a high performance experience.

Screen: Same as the TECNO Spark Slim, it is equipped with a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display, supporting 1.5K high resolution, 144Hz high refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 4500 nits.

Battery: Built-in 5160mAh high energy density battery, supports 45W fast charging.

System: HiOS 15 customized based on Android 15.

Others: Supports multi-function NFC and FreeLink wireless communication, and has Mood Light design on the back of the body.
