The first Snapdragon 8 Gen5 small-screen flagship! vivo S50 Pro mini released

The vivo S50 Pro mini has been officially released. The 12GB+256GB version is priced at 3699 yuan, the 12GB+512GB version at 3999 yuan, and the 16GB+512GB version at 4299 yuan.

This phone continues the small-screen design of its predecessor, with a screen size of 6.31 inches. It is available in three colors: Confession, Inspiration Purple, and Deep Space Black. The Confession color uses a satin lithography process, so that the light and shadow change with the color when the phone is turned, creating a dreamy and dynamic effect.

Furthermore, the vivo S50 Pro mini features an aviation-grade aluminum floating mirror assembly that is compact, elegant, and easy to hold. It is paired with a jewelry-grade high-gloss chamfering process for a dazzling look, and a suspended water droplet cold carving process that lightly lifts the mirror assembly, making it resemble a dreamy floating island.

In terms of core configuration, the vivo S50 Pro mini is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen5 chip (the fifth generation of Snapdragon 8), making it the industry’s first small-screen phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen5.
It features a 50-megapixel front camera, a 50-megapixel large-sensor main camera, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and a 110° ultra-wide-angle lens on the back. The battery is 6500mAh and supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

In terms of imaging, the vivo S50 Pro mini has the industry’s only Live mode, as well as 3x golden telephoto Live, making it more atmospheric when shooting people, whether it’s street photography, travel photography, store visits, or exhibitions.

Furthermore, this camera is equipped with a self-developed original image engine and large model image enhancement technology, resulting in clearer telephoto images and better detail. With this high-powered telephoto lens in hand, you can easily capture blockbuster-level shots.

In addition, the S50 Pro mini features highlight slow-motion shooting, combined with AI algorithm zoom to magnify the subject, allowing you to capture your highlight moments instantly and easily obtain Grammy red carpet runway photos just like those of celebrities.

It’s worth noting that the main camera of the vivo S50 Pro mini has also been significantly upgraded. This phone features a custom-designed Sony IMX921 ultra-sensitive bionic large-sensor sensor, combined with self-developed VCS bionic light-sensing technology, resulting in more natural and realistic colors, delivering what you see is what you get, and more efficient image processing—what you see is what you get. By improving the signal-to-noise ratio, image purity is greatly enhanced, capturing more exquisite details even in low-light environments.
