The foldable flagship X Fold6 goes on sale for the first time: starting at 7999 yuan.

This new phone also officially launched its first sale across all channels today.

The vivo X Fold6 is the first to feature a flagship screen using Samsung’s M14 luminescent material, a built-in 7000mAh Blue Ocean Large Battery, and IPX8/IPX9 water resistance and IP5X dust resistance. It also features the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chip for the first time.

In an interview, Huang Tao, Vice President and Product Vice President of vivo, stated that after using the X Fold6 for a period of time, he had no desire to switch back to other ordinary candybar phones. Now, he uses the X Fold6 as his sole primary phone for all his daily work and life.

The pricing, which is of utmost concern to everyone, also maintains a high cost-performance ratio. The starting version of this new phone is priced at only 7,999 yuan, while the top-of-the-line version is priced at 12,299 yuan, making its configuration advantages quite outstanding among products in the same price range.

Industry sources had previously reported that the previous generation X Fold5 performed exceptionally well in the market, with total sales reaching hundreds of thousands of units. This directly helped vivo rank among the top two manufacturers in terms of sales of large foldable phones in China, firmly establishing itself as a leader in the foldable screen market.

In this interview, Huang Tao also clearly stated that the entire R&D team has great confidence in the market performance of the X Fold6. All users who came to experience the new phone could intuitively feel that this generation of products has made leaps and bounds compared to the previous generation, whether it is the appearance and workmanship, imaging capabilities, battery life, screen quality, or the newly upgraded atomic workbench interaction logic.

He estimates that the overall sales of this new generation of products will achieve at least a 30% year-on-year increase compared to the X Fold5 .
