Meizu 22 was officially unveiled this afternoon with a starting price of 2,999 yuan.

In terms of core configuration, the Meizu 22 uses a 6.3-inch 1.5K screen, is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen4 processor, a 50-megapixel front camera, a 50-megapixel rear AI triple camera, and a 5510mAh battery.

The Meizu 22 returns to a smaller screen while sticking with a white front panel design. This places extremely high demands on product yield and coating technology. While most brands opt for the more reliable black panel, Meizu sticks with white. Wan Zhiqiang, CMO of Meizu China, stated that the Meizu 22 may be the last generation of white-panel phones.

It is reported that Meizu 22 not only uses a white panel, but also optimizes the thickness of the white border, challenging the world’s narrowest physical four-sided design of 1.2mm to achieve a better visual experience. This is achieved using a more complex self-developed LIPO process at a higher cost.

In addition, the Meizu 22 is also equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen4, and is optimized with the four major engines of Meizu One Mind, to ensure that the phone maintains a perfect balance between smoothness and energy saving while running at high performance.

It is worth mentioning that the Meizu 22 has also passed the TÜV SÜD Game Scene Smoothness S-level certification, and can easily handle both running large games and multitasking. At the same time, the Meizu 22 has also passed the TÜV SÜD 72-month Smoothness A+ level certification, ensuring that the phone remains smooth and stable after long-term use.
