The most powerful demon king in Redmi history! All the key information about the REDMI K100 is here.

Digital blogger Smart Pikachu revealed that the REDMI K100 series is about to be launched, and the entire series is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 flagship chip, precisely targeting the 3000-4000 yuan price range. In the face of industry price increases, it will consolidate its position as a cost-effective flagship with lower price increases and powerful configuration.

Against the backdrop of rising supply chain costs, price increases for new phones are inevitable. As Xiaomi’s flagship series focused on high sales volume, the K100 series has also seen price adjustments, but leaks suggest that the increase will be significantly lower than that of competing products in the same segment. It features comprehensive upgrades in four key areas: performance, screen, imaging, and battery life, achieving “more for less.”

In terms of screen, the K100 series continues and upgrades the SuperPixel screen technology, which will become a standard feature of Xiaomi flagship phones. Through true RGB lossless arrangement, the screen achieves 2K resolution while consuming less power than traditional 1.5K screens, balancing high-definition display with low power consumption and battery life.

In terms of size, the standard version features a 6.6-inch medium-sized flat screen, suitable for one-handed operation; while the Pro Max version is equipped with a 6.9-inch large screen, focusing on an immersive audio-visual experience.

The entire series is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 mobile platform, which uses TSMC’s 3nm process and is equipped with LPDDR5X and UFS4.1 performance combination. The AnTuTu benchmark score exceeds 4 million, easily handling large games and multitasking, with an excellent balance between performance and energy efficiency.

The imaging system has received the most significant upgrade in the history of the K series. Leaks suggest that the entire K100 series will be tested with a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, covering various scenarios including landscapes, portraits, and macro photography. The Pro Max version goes a step further, testing a 20MP main camera with a large sensor, maximizing detail resolution and supporting “shoot first, compose later” secondary creative editing, bringing its imaging capabilities to par with high-end flagship phones.

Battery life is a core highlight of the K100 series. The engineering sample already features an 8500mAh super-large battery, and the R&D team is still working on even higher capacities, surpassing the specifications of many mainstream flagship batteries. The charging solution is on par with high-end models, supporting 100W Xiaomi Surge wired fast charging + 50W wireless fast charging, balancing fast charging efficiency with wireless convenience, completely eliminating battery anxiety.

Currently, the REDMI K100 series has entered the final testing phase and is expected to be officially launched soon. As a “benchmark of cost-effectiveness” in the mid-range flagship market, it brings a balanced experience to users amidst the price increase trend with its powerful combination of Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5, super pixel screen, periscope telephoto lens, and large battery, making it one of the most anticipated flagships in the 3000-4000 yuan price range.
