The Honor 600 series debuts a textbook-level eye-protection screen.

Honor officially announced key information about its Honor 600 series, which will be officially launched on May 25th, including the Honor 600 Super Edition and Honor 600 Pro. The series focuses on eye-protection screens and professional imaging capabilities, with many features unique in its price range, generating significant market attention.

Eye protection is a major upgrade for the Honor 600 series. The entire series is equipped with a textbook-level eye protection screen, featuring the industry’s first exclusive paper-textured full-color mode. With its low saturation, low contrast, and low-irritation display characteristics, it achieves more accurate color reproduction and a more natural color temperature. Official data shows that it can improve visual fatigue by 24%, significantly optimizing the visual experience whether reading magazines, comics, or novels.

Meanwhile, all models come standard with a sunlight mode, ensuring clear and transparent images even in strong outdoor light and backlight conditions, completely solving the problem of not being able to see the screen in bright sunlight. It’s worth mentioning that the Honor 600 series is the only model in its price range to support 1nit ultra-dark display across the entire series, providing a soft and non-glaring screen brightness for nighttime reading and low-light environments, comprehensively enhancing the eye protection experience.

In terms of hardware configuration, the two models precisely cater to the needs of different users. The Honor 600 Super Edition is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen4 chip, a 6.57-inch flat screen, and a 200-megapixel main rear camera, providing a solid foundation for imaging. In terms of battery life, it has a built-in 8600mAh Qinghai Lake battery, which has outstanding energy density performance and can easily meet the needs of long-term use.

The Honor 600 Pro is positioned as a flagship-level experience, upgraded with the Dimensity 8550 Elite flagship chip for stronger performance; the imaging system adds a 50-megapixel 3.5x optical periscope telephoto lens for clear and stable shooting of distant scenes; and the battery capacity is 8000mAh, balancing performance and battery life.

Imaging is the core highlight of this camera, which is touted as a “super 4K live streaming camera” and is the only model in the industry to support 4K Live across all focal lengths. It features a 7x super telephoto 4K Live lens, enabling the capture of ultra-clear images from a distance; the front-facing 4K Live camera, paired with an AI zoom flash, optimizes the quality of nighttime selfies. Furthermore, the camera is equipped with a one-stop 4K Live lossless ecosystem, preserving ultra-clear image quality throughout the entire process of shooting, editing, and sharing.

Editor’s Review:

The current mid-range mobile phone market is highly homogenized. The Honor 600 series precisely targets two major user pain points: eye protection and imaging. It creates a distinct differentiation with its unique 1nit ultra-dark eye protection screen and paper-like full-color mode, directly addressing the core needs of users in daily use.

Full-range 4K Live imaging and a one-stop lossless ecosystem break through the experience bottleneck of mobile phone live shooting, balancing professionalism and ease of use; the ultra-large capacity Qinghai Lake battery solves battery anxiety, and the dual-chip strategy also covers users with different budgets.

Overall, the Honor 600 series balances user experience, innovation, and practicality, and is expected to disrupt the mid-range market landscape, providing a clear path for the differentiated development of mid-range products in the industry.
