The Samsung Galaxy S26 features a boosted Snapdragon 8E5 processor and the fastest memory.
Blogger iBing Universe revealed that the entire Samsung Galaxy S26 series will come standard with LPDDR5X 10.7Gbps memory, which is the same LPDDR5X Ultra Pro version that the iQOO 15 top-of-the-line version is labeled as.
The blogger stated that with this memory paired with the high-frequency version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 (hereinafter referred to as Snapdragon 8E5) chip, the benchmark scores of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be even higher.
It is understood that LPDDR5X Ultra Pro memory is one of the fastest memory technologies in the mobile phone industry, with a maximum read and write speed of 10.7Gbps. The iQOO 15 16GB+1TB version that has been launched is equipped with this type of memory, which has powerful performance.
In addition, the Galaxy S26 series is the world’s first to feature a high-performance Snapdragon 8E5 chip with a CPU clock speed of 4.74GHz, while the standard Snapdragon 8E5 has a CPU clock speed of 4.6GHz. It is manufactured based on TSMC’s 3nm process and the CPU consists of 2 super cores and 6 large cores, making it the most powerful mobile phone chip in the Android camp.
The Galaxy S26 series, featuring the first high-performance Snapdragon 8E5 processor, will be unveiled in January next year.
