Snapdragon Summit held today, Qualcomm released the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, a new generation of flagship mobile platform, which is Qualcomm’s most powerful and fastest mobile system-on-chip in the world to date.
At the summit, ROG Gaming Phone 9 announced that it will be the first to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, and demonstrated the actual appearance of the phone on site. The new phone will be released in November.
ASUS co-CEO Hsu Xianyue said that ROG 9 is equipped with the high-performance Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition mobile platform, integrating innovative terminal-side generative AI and gaming capabilities, bringing changes to consumer experience.
With the support of Qualcomm’s self-developed Oryon architecture CPU, the new Adreno GPU and the enhanced Hexagon NPU, ROG Gaming Phone 9 will be the most powerful flagship gaming phone currently available.
In terms of ID design, ROG gaming phone 9 will have at least two colors, black and white. The rear camera module adopts a stepped pentagonal design and consists of three lenses + flash. The ROG Logo is on the back of the body.
Judging from the PPT presentation, the phone will continue to use a hidden screen design on the back that can display time, battery level and other information.
