Realme GT7 Pro official announcement: equipped with Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition

Realme announced that GT7 Pro will be the first to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition processor, and the new flagship will debut this month.

Realme also announced that Realme GT7 Pro will be available in more than 10 countries and regions around the world in November, including India, Italy, Spain, Malaysia and Thailand.

It is reported that the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition integrates the second-generation self-developed Oryon CPU, based on TSMC’s 3nm process technology, and
adopts a “2+6” design, including 2 4.32GHz super cores and 6 3.53GHz performance cores. Its frequency is increased by about 31% and 10% respectively compared with the third-generation Snapdragon 8.

Not only that, the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition CPU cache reaches 24MB, of which 2 super-large cores share 12MB L2 cache, and 6 performance cores share 12MB L2 cache, supporting 5.3GHz LPDDR5x memory.

Qualcomm introduced that the single-core performance and multi-core performance of the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition have both improved by 45% compared to the third-generation Snapdragon 8, and the energy efficiency has also been upgraded by 45%.

In addition, the design of the new Adreno GPU has also changed greatly. It adopts a slicing architecture, and the internal rendering unit is divided into three independent slices, each of which can run at the corresponding main frequency. Therefore, it can be dynamically allocated according to different workloads, realizing flexible scheduling of GPU performance and improving energy efficiency.

In addition to being equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, the realme GT7 Pro also exclusively customized a Samsung 1.5K full-depth four-micro-curved screen, which is officially called a “epoch-making ten thousand yuan screen.”

Chuchu_Jessie, marketing director of realme China, said that the realme R&D team has completely solved the OLED eye protection problem from the hardware perspective, is at least one generation ahead of other mobile phone brands in technology, and provides a display effect that is close to natural light.

In addition, the realme GT7 Pro is also equipped with a rear triple-camera module, including a 50-megapixel main camera, an ultra-wide-angle lens and a LYT-600 3X periscope telephoto lens. The phone may also be equipped with a physical photo button and support IP69 dust and water resistance.
