The world’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite 2! Xiaomi 16 series has started blind appointments
Xiaomi’s offline store staff have begun to inform users today that Xiaomi’s annual new product will be released soon and blind bookings have already begun.
Although the specific product has not been announced yet, everyone knows that this is Xiaomi’s new flagship – the Xiaomi 16 series.
According to leaks, the Xiaomi Mi 16 series will be the world’s first to launch the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, and will be exclusive throughout September.
This year’s Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit has been confirmed to be held from September 23rd to 25th, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will be unveiled on the first day.
It is revealed that the Xiaomi 16 series is expected to be unveiled on one of the three days between September 24th and September 26th.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2’s CPU consists of 2*4.61GHz super cores + 6*3.63GHz large cores, and integrates an Adreno 840 GPU. The GPU frequency is about 1.2GHz, and the GPU independent cache is increased to 16MB. The GeekBench 6 single-core theoretical performance is set at 4000+, and the multi-core score is 11000+.
In comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s single-core score is around 3100 and its multi-core score is around 9800.
The Xiaomi 16 series is still a combination of large and small screens, with the standard version and Pro version being the first to debut.
The screen specifications will change slightly, adopting a new R-angle solution and a widescreen ratio, which will make the overall look more comfortable.
It is worth noting that many sources have mentioned that in addition to launching a 6.3-inch standard version this year, Xiaomi also has a small-screen Pro model that packs more comprehensive configurations into a small body.
