True self returns to OPPO! Products sold in the official store now include the OPPO keyword.
Fast Technology reported that OPPO released an internal memo last week announcing that realme will return to OPPO as a sub-brand to further coordinate operations and integrate resources. Netizens have discovered that phones sold on realme’s official flagship stores on JD.com and Tmall now include the keyword “OPPO”.
With this, OPPO will now simultaneously own three brands: OPPO, Realme, and OnePlus. Realme CEO Li Bingzhong will lead the sub-brand business , while OnePlus China President Li Jie’s responsibilities will remain unchanged. Realme’s new products will be iterated as planned, and will be fully integrated into OPPO’s after-sales service system.
Analysts point out that Realme’s return to OPPO symbolizes the completion of OPPO’s business integration of its sub-brands. With both OnePlus and Realme as its two major sub-brands, OPPO will further enrich its product portfolio, covering different needs from budget to high-end, and from gaming to imaging. For Realme users, the ability to directly access after-sales service at OPPO offline service centers is undoubtedly a major benefit.
It’s worth mentioning that after Realme’s return to OPPO, Realme will soon release its first new product of 2026, the Realme Neo8. This phone will be the first to feature a 165Hz Samsung Sky Screen, equipped with an M14 luminescent substrate, and adapted to the native 165fps mode of many popular mobile games.
As the first major product launched after returning to OPPO, the Realme Neo8 is highly anticipated. The new product will be unveiled on January 22.
