Unlock Smarter Features with One UI 8.5 on Your Galaxy Phone
Samsung is getting ready to release One UI 8.5 together with the Galaxy S26 early next year and it’s already looking like one of their biggest updates so far. Numerous features from the new software have already surfaced through leaks and even more continue to appear almost daily. According to the latest leak, One UI 8.5 will focus heavily on improving how smart your Galaxy phone feels, making it easier to handle daily activities, reminders and common tasks without much effort.
Meet Now Nudges: Samsung’s Latest One UI Innovation
Recently, Android Authority discovered a new feature called Now Nudges while examining leaked files from One UI 8.5. The screenshots from the source show that Galaxy AI powers this feature and its overall behavior seems very close to Google’s Magic Cue which made its debut in the Pixel 10 series. The purpose of Now Nudges is to study your behavior and figure out your daily habits. Once it understand how you use your phone throughout the day it can offer helpful suggestions or information automatically right at the moment when it thinks you might need it. This could make everyday tasks feel smoother and more convenient for Galaxy users.

The Recall Important Info feature in Now Nudges is designed to help you bring back information from the past whenever you need it. It can pull up old conversations, screenshots or other pieces of data and show them to you at the right moment. Another tool called Fill Out Forms Easily observes the forms you complete on different websites. Once it has learned your usual details it can assist you by auto-filling those fields the next time you are required to complete a similar online form.
With the Get Things Done Quickly feature, your phone can analyze what you’re viewing and propose actions that might be useful at that moment. If someone sends you a message containing a location, Now Nudges can help you open that spot instantly in Google Maps. Similarly, if you’re reading something in a language you don’t understand, the feature may suggest starting a translation right away so you can follow along without confusion.

One UI 8.5 could introduce even more new features, and we will probably get a full look at everything when Samsung officially launches the One UI 8.5 Beta Program later this year. The full experience and all the new capabilities will likely be revealed once the Galaxy S26 launches in February or March 2026, giving users a chance to try out the latest software improvements and explore everything the update has to offer.
