vivo becomes the first brand to support direct posting of 200MP high-resolution images.

Fast Technology reported that vivo announced today that it is the first to support direct posting of 200-megapixel high-definition photos to Weibo.

This means that users no longer need to worry about image quality loss due to platform compression when sharing high-resolution photos on Weibo.

According to the official poster, the models that currently support this feature include the vivo X300 series, X200 Ultra, X200 Pro, X100 Ultra, and Y500 Pro.

It should be noted that this feature depends on system and Weibo version compatibility. Users need to upgrade their system to Origin OS 6 and update the Weibo App to version 16.1.4 or above to experience high-definition direct posting.

It is understood that the vivo X300 Pro is the world’s first to feature the LYT-828 gimbal-level main camera and is equipped with a 200-megapixel periscope lens.

The vivo X300 uses a 200-megapixel sensor as its main camera, and is also equipped with a Zeiss APO super telephoto lens LYT-602 and a Zeiss 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, earning it the nickname “the little Thanos of imaging.”

It is worth noting that in January of this year, digital blogger “Digital Chat Station” revealed that OPPO and vivo’s current generation of “ultra-large cup” models will feature dual 200-megapixel sensors, and it is expected that other manufacturers’ next-generation flagship models will follow suit, with all models featuring a super-large sensor 200-megapixel main camera + 200-megapixel main camera telephoto lens.

They believe that the end of this year will be the first year of 200-megapixel cameras, with manufacturers including Sony, Samsung, SmartSens, and OmniVision all participating in the flagship imaging battle.
