Vivo S18 Series Listed On Official Website With Models Vivo S18, Vivo S18e and Vivo S18 Pro

The Vivo S18 series, consisting of the S18e, S18, and S18 Pro, has been officially listed on the Vivo website. This series marks a significant addition to Vivo’s smartphone lineup

Design and Camera Innovations

The Vivo S18 and S18 Pro share similar industrial designs, while the S18e features a distinctly different camera Deco. The S18 series boasts substantial upgrades in imaging capabilities. The S18 Pro, in particular, is equipped with the same 50MP Sony IMX920 flagship main camera as the X100, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a professional long-focus portrait lens similar to the X90S.

Portrait “Fill Light” and New Lighting Features

The S18 series introduces a “fill light” feature for portraits, utilizing a full-score portrait algorithm and a new “Smart Fill Light” function. This feature intelligently adjusts soft light brightness to provide soft, evenly distributed, and bright lighting, ensuring satisfactory results regardless of shooting distance and creating a studio-like atmosphere.

Front and Rear Soft Light Innovation

The Vivo S18 series is the first in the industry to feature front and rear soft light. The new 50MP wide-angle dual soft light for the front camera breaks traditional front camera lighting limitations, offering users quality and softer images in various shooting scenarios, achieving studio-level lighting effects.

Core Configurations

The core configurations of the series are as follows:

  • Vivo S18e: Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset.
  • Vivo S18: Equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen3 processor.
  • Vivo S18 Pro: Features the Dimensity 9200+ chipset.

Launch Date

The new Vivo S18 series is set to be released on December 14th.

In summary, the Vivo S18 series introduces three new models with advanced camera technologies, innovative lighting features, and powerful processors. The series is expected to offer a range of options to cater to different user preferences and needs in the smartphone market.
