iQOO Neo 9 Series Comes Preinstalled With OriginOS 4

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is set to launch the successor to the iQOO Neo 8 series in China, with the iQOO Neo 9 series officially confirmed for release on December 27, 2023. The series, which includes the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro, is known for its mid-budget range that offers value for money. The iQOO Neo 9 series is expected to be launched in China first, followed by a global release.

First Smartphone with Origin OS 4

The iQOO Neo 9 Series is distinguished as the first smartphone to feature Origin OS 4. This operating system is designed to enhance the dual-core performance, making it more powerful, stable, and smarter, and elevating the Android experience to new heights.

Specifications of iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro

  • The iQOO Neo 9 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, while the iQOO Neo 9 Pro features a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Both models are expected to surpass the performance and efficiency of the previous Neo 8 series.
  • Both phones come with a robust 5000 mAh battery and support 120W fast charging, capable of charging 80% in just 10 minutes.
  • The iQOO Neo 9 has a plastic frame, while the Neo 9 Pro may offer a glass back or a leather back option.
  • The display features include a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 2160Hz dimming display.
  • The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 OIS-enabled primary camera and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, along with a 16 MP front camera setup.

About Global Launch

Following its debut in China, the iQOO Neo 9 series is expected to be launched globally, with the OnePlus 12 confirmed for a global launch on January 23, 2023.
