Fast Technology reported that the vivo S2 has been officially launched in the Indian market. The overall appearance of the phone is similar to that of the vivo X300 FE, with a starting price of 39,999 Indian Rupees (approximately 2,840 RMB).
The vivo S2 features a 6.83-inch 1.5K micro-curved AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. It supports a 120Hz high refresh rate and HDR, with a peak brightness of 3000 nits. It has passed SGS eye protection and anti-flicker certification and has a built-in optical in-display fingerprint recognition module.
The camera features a horizontally arranged lens module on the back and is available in three trendy colors: sapphire blue, royal bronze, and velvet white.
The rear camera module includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an Aura Light ring LED flash; the front camera is equipped with a 32-megapixel lens, and both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.
In terms of performance, the vivo S2 is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo, built with a 4nm process, and features a built-in 3800mm² ultra -large VC liquid cooling heat sink. It offers 8GB LPDDR4X memory and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 flash storage, and supports 8GB virtual memory expansion.
In terms of battery life, the vivo S2 is equipped with a large 7050mAh battery, supporting 44W wired fast charging, reverse charging, and direct charging technology to alleviate users’ battery anxiety.
In terms of system, the device comes pre-installed with OriginOS 6, a customized version of Android 16, and promises to provide three years of major Android version upgrades and five years of security patch support.
The aircraft is also equipped with dual stereo speakers, has an IP68/IP69 protection rating, and has passed MIL-STD-810H military standard certification.
In terms of specific pricing, the vivo S2 offers two storage options: the 8GB+128GB version is priced at 39,999 Indian Rupees (approximately 2,840 RMB), and the 8GB+256GB version is priced at 44,999 Indian Rupees (approximately 3,200 RMB).
