Vivo X Fold 3 Live Images Show Mac Platform Integration
The real images of Vivo X Fold 3 have surfaced online, the images have been shared on Weibo platform. The vivo X Fold 3 folding screen smartphone has recently been unveiled, showcasing its ability to remotely control a Mac, essentially transforming the phone into a Mac computer. This revelation was shared by a Chinese leaker, highlighting that vivo has accomplished what Apple has not, by integrating with the Apple ecosystem and attracting Apple fans to consider switching to a folding screen device.
The vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro have been registered with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform, which marks a significant improvement in imaging capabilities. The new device is equipped with a 50-megapixel dual-transistor main camera, rivaling the performance of one-inch CMOS sensors, and includes a periscope-style telephoto lens, likely adopting a strategy for medium telephoto capabilities.
Additionally, the new model will continue the highly praised single-point ultrasonic dual fingerprint recognition strategy from its predecessors. The charging specifications have been updated to 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, moving away from the previous generation’s 120W fast charging, presumably to accommodate a slimmer design.
The large screen features a 2K LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of weight and thickness, the vivo X Fold 3 is comparable to flagship imaging phones, weighing around 230 grams.
vivo has not yet announced the official release date for these two new folding screen devices, but they are expected to be launched in March.
