vivo X Fold6 Packed with Specs! A Comprehensive Guide to Core Specifications

The vivo X Fold6 will be officially released on June 26. The new phone is currently available for pre-order on vivo’s official website and e-commerce platform flagship stores.

Today, vivo product manager Han Boxiao published an article summarizing the core configuration and product details of the vivo X Fold6.

He stated that, in his opinion, the vivo X Fold6 is undoubtedly the most powerful foldable flagship, with all its features fully optimized.

In terms of core performance, the vivo X Fold6 is equipped with the Blue Crystal x Dimensity 9500 Super Edition flagship chip, which is the industry’s first full-fledged flagship chip designed for large-screen AI task flow and multi-threaded interaction.

The new device comes pre-installed with the OriginOS 6 Fold, a brand-new folding system, which is also the industry’s first OS designed for foldable large screens and multi-threaded interaction.

Meanwhile, the vivo X Fold6 will also be equipped with a unique foldable atomic workbench that supports serial and parallel modes, enabling multiple apps to run simultaneously on one screen, further improving the efficiency of multitasking on a large screen.

In terms of screen, both the inner and outer screens of the vivo X Fold6 use the latest generation of luminescent materials. The inner screen is the first to use Samsung’s M14 luminescent material on a foldable screen, which has higher peak brightness and lower power consumption.

In terms of imaging configuration, the new phone is the first foldable phone to feature Zeiss APO super telephoto lens, Zeiss 200MP super main camera, Blueprint V3+ imaging chip, full-focal-length zoom flash, Blueprint color palette, 4K 60fps Dolby Vision, and vivo Zeiss G2 teleconverter.

Han Boxiao stated that the vivo X Fold6 is the first foldable screen phone to receive Zeiss APO telephoto certification.

This machine achieves the Zeiss APO color difference control standard for the first time in the folding machine space through Zeiss T* coating and low dispersion materials, combined with extreme color difference optimization.

In terms of battery life, the vivo X Fold6 series comes standard with a 7000mAh Blue Ocean Battery, featuring the industry’s first fifth-generation silicon anode and an exclusive third-generation semi-solid-state battery solution.

Among them, the new 18% silicon content block silicon-carbon anode can effectively suppress cell cycle expansion, reduce interface impedance, and extend cycle life.

The semi-solid electrolyte can improve the low-temperature ion conduction capability, allowing the phone to maintain stable battery life even in environments as cold as -20°C.

In terms of durability, the vivo X Fold6 is equipped with second-generation armor glass and uses an ultra-reliable lightweight hinge, which can achieve a maximum folding life of 600,000 times in the laboratory.

In addition, the key structural components of the new machine are made of ultra-high strength steel, with a tensile strength of up to 2300MPa and a yield strength of up to 2100MPa, improving performance by 21% and bringing stronger structural reliability within the same volume.

In terms of communication, the vivo X Fold6 will be equipped with the Universal Signal Amplification System 3.0 and vivo’s exclusive 1+4 communication chipset, including one Universal Signal Amplification chip and four Wi-Fi enhancement and wall-penetrating chips, which will make the signal more stable in complex scenarios such as meetings and concerts, and make the location and ride-hailing more accurate.

Based on the information released so far, the vivo X Fold6 not only boasts top-of-the-line specifications in performance, screen, imaging, and battery life, but also features enhancements for multitasking on a large screen, communication stability, and long-term durability, which are frequently used by foldable screen users. Its overall positioning is clearly aimed at the top-tier foldable flagship.
