According to leaked information, the starting price of the vivo X Fold6 is 9999 yuan, with the following price distribution: 12+256GB version priced at 9999 yuan, 12+512GB version at 10999 yuan, 16+512GB version at 11499 yuan, and 16+1TB version at 12499 yuan. If this price is accurate, compared to the previous generation vivo X Fold5’s starting price of 6999 yuan, the new generation foldable screen has increased by 3000 yuan.
In terms of product upgrades, the vivo X Fold6 has achieved a comprehensive evolution in screen, performance, imaging, and battery life. Coupled with factors such as the continuous rise in the cost of core components such as memory and storage chips, its price increase is within market expectations.
In terms of configuration, the vivo X Fold6 is the first to be equipped with the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition flagship chip, which is the industry’s first full-fledged flagship platform designed specifically for large-screen AI task flow and multi-threaded interaction. Regarding the screen, this phone is the first to feature an internal screen using Samsung’s M14 luminescent material, further enhancing display quality.
The imaging system is equipped with a Zeiss APO super telephoto lens, a Zeiss 200-megapixel super main camera, and a Blueprint V3+ image chip, supports external teleconverters, and comes standard with a 7000mAh Blue Ocean battery, significantly enhancing battery life.
Furthermore, the vivo X Fold6 features an ultra-reliable lightweight hinge, capable of withstanding up to 600,000 folds in the laboratory. Key structural components utilize ultra-high-strength steel with a tensile strength of 2300MPa and a yield strength of 2100MPa, representing a 21% performance improvement over the previous generation and delivering greater structural reliability within the same volume.
