Although we won’t see the Vivo X300 Ultra launch this year, the company is getting closer to making it official. Recently, a phone with the model number V2536A was certified in China and the certification revealed that it will support fast charging at 100W.

Interestingly, the phone will feature 100W USB PPS charging which works at 20 volts and 5 amps. With this feature, the phone will be able to charge as fast as Vivo’s FlashCharge system.

According to recent leaks, the Vivo X300 Ultra will come with a large 7,000mAh battery. For comparison, the X200 Ultra came with a 6,000mAh battery and supported fast charging at 90W for wired and 40W for wireless. The current Vivo X300 Pro is powered by a 6,510mAh battery in the Chinese version while the global version comes with a smaller 5,440mAh battery. It’s possible that the global Ultra could follow the same pattern but this has not been confirmed yet.

We also expect the Vivo X300 Ultra to be available in global markets. The phone is said to feature two 200MP cameras: a large 1/1.12-inch sensor for the main camera and a 1/1.4 inch sensor for the telephoto camera. On top of that, the 50MP ultra wide camera will use a huge 1/1.28 inch sensor which is even bigger than the main sensors on some recent flagship devices. Additionally, unlike the other X300 models, the Ultra is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor instead of the Dimensity 9500 used in the other X300 models.

The Vivo X300 Pro 5G is currently offered in two configurations: a 512GB storage variant with 16GB RAM for $1,099 (or €1,399) and a 256GB storage variant with 12GB RAM priced at $785.53.

The Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to launch around the end of the first quarter next year. For context, the X200 Ultra made its debut in April.
