vivo’s first new phone of 2026! The Y500i is officially announced to go on sale on January 16th

Today, vivo announced that the vivo Y500i will officially go on sale on January 16. This is vivo’s first new phone in 2026.

It is understood that the vivo Y500i focuses on long battery life, and the official claim is that its long battery life is extremely durable and leads the market in its class.

Previously, the vivo Y500i appeared in China Telecom’s terminal product database, offering three storage versions: 8GB+256GB, 8GB+512GB, and 12GB+256GB . Color options include Obsidian Black, Galaxy Silver, Lucky Red, Phoenix Gold, and Good Fortune Red.

The vivo Y500i is 8.39mm thick and weighs 219g. It features a 6.75-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1520×720, a 50-megapixel main rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera.

In terms of battery life and performance, the phone has a built-in 7200mAh high-capacity battery, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen2 processor, and uses Samsung’s 4nm process.
