Fast Technology reported that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition in new black and silver colors was released, with a starting price of 7,999 yuan.
Today, Leica Camera China’s official Weibo account announced that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra by Leica in black and silver, co-created with Xiaomi, will soon be available through official Leica channels.
According to reports, the color scheme was designed by Leica designers themselves, inheriting the language of Leica M series cameras. It features a one-piece pure black matte back panel with a contrasting bright silver frame design. The body is engraved with the classic Leica red logo, and the frame is finely knurled with the LEICA CAMERA GERMANY inscription, making it understated yet distinctive.
In terms of details, the Leica red label, the Leica text on the rear camera module, and the Xiaomi logo at the bottom of the black and silver version are all arranged vertically.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition features a 1-inch sensor for its main camera and adopts LOFIC ultra-high dynamic range technology, combined with a high-transmittance glass lens, to deliver a wider dynamic range and more delicate tones.
The 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens adopts a multi-element APO design, enabling continuous optical zoom from 75mm to 100mm, and supports autofocus and optical image stabilization.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition features a Physics Master zoom ring, employing a precision mechanical transmission structure that can detect displacements as small as 0.03mm. Through precise gear meshing, it converts external rotation angles into accurate digital signals, further enhancing the professional shooting control experience.
