Xiaomi Executive Is Getting Ready For The Launch Event of Xiaomi 14 Series

President of Xiaomi Lu Weibing, gearing up for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra launch event, revisited the previous two Ultra series launch events today, signaling preparations for the upcoming unveiling of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

Lu Weibing posted on Weibo today: ” Today I am going to review the launch conferences of Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

This move comes after Lei Jun’s announcement earlier this month that he would be stepping back from Xiaomi’s smartphone division to focus more on the automotive sector, with Lu Weibing taking over as the general manager of the Xiaomi brand. Lei Jun reassured that the smartphone business remains the core of Xiaomi and that he would continue to invest significant effort into it.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is rumored to debut this month, featuring the Sony LYT900 sensor, an upgrade from the IMX989, boasting a 1-inch super large base, making it Sony’s most powerful 1-inch main camera sensor to date. In addition to imaging enhancements, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to incorporate the latest proprietary advancements in communication, materials, and battery technology.

The official announcement of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra by Lu Weibing marks a significant moment for Xiaomi as it prepares to showcase its latest innovations in the smartphone industry.
