Xiaomi Mi MIX Flip 2 is now available for pre-order
Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 has opened pre-orders on Xiaomi’s official website and will be released at the end of June.
According to digital blogger “Digital Chat Station”, the new phone is currently the only fully-equipped flagship small folding phone, with an experience comparable to that of a straight-screen flagship, equipped with a 3nm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition chip, and has solved the problems of heat and battery life on the small folding phone.
According to previous reports, Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 uses a 6.85-inch 1.5K resolution LTPO inner screen + a large dual-curved sub-screen and a side fingerprint solution.
The phone has a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens on the back, but no upright telephoto lens. The new phone will have wireless charging and IPX8 features.
For reference, Xiaomi’s first small folding phone, MIX Flip, was released in July last year. It is equipped with a third-generation Snapdragon 8 chip, a rear Leica optical Summilux lens, a 6.86-inch inner screen, a built-in 4780mAh battery, supports 67W fast charging, and is priced from 5,999 yuan.
The positioning of Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 is similar to its predecessor, and will focus on an extra-large external screen and flagship performance.
